Des Moines County Conservation is dedicated to the sustainability of natural resources through land stewardship, conservation education and by providing quality outdoor recreation opportunities.
Biking
This activity is growing quickly throughout the community. Currently, bikes are welcome at Big Hollow, which features several miles of trails throughout the park. Additionally, the Flint River Trail is currently under construction. After it is completed, it will connect the city of Burlington to Big Hollow, offering nearly 20 miles of trail.
